Perks:
Convenient, regular pickup service to divert your food waste from the landfill
No start up costs or long term commitments! It is a 4 week subscription that you can cancel at any time.
After 6 months of service, subscribers qualify to receive compost*. Subscribers get a bucket of finished, ready to use compost in both the spring and summer season. Reach out when you want yours!
Refer a Friend: Get $5 off your next payment for each referral we receive from you! That friend also receives $5 off their first month.
Regular updates regarding how many pounds you have diverted from the landfill.
Info for Subscribers:
The bucket you receive is yours to hold on to throughout service. You may also use your own if you choose. Either way, please take care of it! Wiping your bucket between pickups and deep cleaning the bucket and lid regularly will help keep it fresh. You can also line the container with a paper bag, line it with news paper, put crumpled up newspaper at the bottom to absorb liquid or use a fully compostable plastic bag such as BioBags of your bucket with crumpled up newspaper to absorb liquid. These suggested methods will help us leave your container fully empty with less clean up work for you to do before putting the bucket back into collection mode.
Please tie the bag (if using one) before closing the lid of your bucket and leaving it out for us to pickup!
We try to operate between 8am and 8pm, so please leave your bucket out early enough for us. If your bucket hasn’t been picked up by 8pm, please reach out and let us know.
If you forget to leave your bucket out, we are willing to come pickup another day for a $5 fee.

Where does my bucket go? (During the week and for pick up)
During the week: It will have a sealed lid that will ensure there’s no smell factor. You can put it right next to your garbage and recycling cans in your kitchen. Tip: Some people use a smaller container that sits on their counter to collect scraps and then empty it at the end of the day into the larger bucket.
For pick up: Try to avoid putting the your bucket next to your regular trash and recycle pick up place, because it is likely to get mistaken! Please make sure it is in an accessible area (no fenced in or blocked areas please).
